Class Fees
($25 unless otherwise specified)
All class fees are $25 unless otherwise specified. (Two day classes are $40.) If you sign up for a class, and are not able to make the class, we ask that you let us know at least 5 days in advance to have your class fees reimbursed.
We do require a minimum of 4 participants for each class. If there are not at least 4 participants, we will contact you and let you know that the class has been cancelled as soon as possible. At that time, you will be given the choice of picking another class, store credit, or a refund.

Cell Phones
We understand that many people carry cell phones today. During class, we ask that you turn off your cell phone, or at least put it on "silent" so that it does not disturb the other students. If you need to use your cell phone, please be polite, and step outside to talk so that you do not disturb the class.
General Class Conduct
We want everyone to enjoy the class experience and become excellent quilters. There are many things that can disturb or disrupt student learning. We try to keep the classroom environment comfortable for everyone and ask that each student practice general politeness and sensitivities. Several of our students and employees have allergies. Therefore, please do not wear strong perfumes and leave children at home.
Parking
We do invite you to pull to the front of the store to unload your machine and sewing supplies. We will be happy to help you unload your car. However, if possible, we ask that you park your car out in the parking lot so that we can reserve the front spaces for store customers during the day.
Class Suggestions
We do our very best to offer an array of classes including the classic and basic techniques combined with the latest in quilting excitement. However, we only know what you want, if you tell us. Be There, Get Your Square You purchase the first block. Each month if you return with the completed block from the last meeting, we will give you your next block free! Attend each meeting with your finished block and you will have 12 blocks at the end of the year for $5. At each meeting we will give you updates on new products, a demonstration of a tool or new technique, and a rundown of the class options coming up for you. NOTE: You can only pick up your block on the first Saturday of each month! We look forward to fun and fellowship every 1st Saturday! |
Scrappy Club Sit-n-Sew
Meets 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am
Come on in and have fun with these Quilt Corner regulars! This group has been meeting for several years and the members have loads of laughs! Bring whatever you would like to work on for the day. Don’t feel like bringing in your machine? A basket of handwork will be great!
Sassy Power Day
Meets 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:00 am

Tote Bag Tuesdays
Meets 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10 am
Join us once a month to create a charming tote bag. Buy the pattern and join us in class to create a chic accessory that appeals to YOU!
Membership fee for the club is $25 for the whole year!!
Wasted Women’s Quilting Bee
Meets 3rd Monday of each month at 10 am
The Wasted Women’s Bee meets on the third Monday of the month and assembles donated fabrics, UFO’s, scraps and assorted leftovers into quilts for various charitable organizations and non-profits.
During the year the group makes lap quilts and these are given to Brave Heart Children in Need, the Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, The Grief Recovery Center, Hospice of Baton Rouge, St. Jude’s, nursing homes and veterans. Many of the quilts are actually quilted by machine quilting students, both on domestic machines and long arms.
