Seven Stitches Plus 1
Every quilt has a story. Ellen Rushin, owner of Seven Stitches Plus 1, has been one of Quilt Corner’s long arm quilters since 2007. She is the mother of 8 children and wife of Craig Rushin. Ellen has always had a love for sewing and discovered a whole new world when introduced to quilting in 2002. Although piecing tops is not her first choice of playing with needle and thread, Ellen loves quilting.
Historically quilts were a necessity and tradition, an item of family history to be treasured. Today the value of quilted textiles continues and Ellen considers it an honor to be part of the process of creating a beautiful, loved treasure.
Ellen enjoys designing the quilting for each quilt and collaborating with customers in order to achieve a fabulous finished project. Proficient in all over designs, basic meanders, all over feathers and custom quilting, Ellen brings a unique style to every quilt.
